IK Multimedia announced that its T-RackS plug-in will soon be available for VST. T-RackS plug-in provides an all-in-one mastering solution. These tools include five sound processors, 6-band EQ, classic tube modeled compressor, multi-band master limiter, soft-clipping stage, and a complete mastering suite containing the modules in one efficient, "gold sounding" mastering plug-in constructed with actual physical models of tube (valve) circuitry. Users of Cubase and Logic will be happy indeed!

Roland is offering the SPS-S, a six pad/3 edges sampler for drummers needing a convenient input and sampler. Feature list:
- 44.1 kHz sampling
- up to 380s, 95 in fine mode, expandable via compact flash
- 120 presets sounds, 200 users
- multieffect processor with 28 algorythms
- resampling possible!
- internal sequencer
- compact flash card for storage
- Midi I/O (hey, could do something of it ;)
- Stereo mic/line In, stereo line out
- headphones jack
- External trigger In, Footswitch and Expression pedal Ins.

Heard thru the grapewine, from a respectable source… Mr. Curtis could issue analogue chips as he did with the famous CEM some (long) time ago. An hint is the new Curtis chip you can find into the Evolver from Dave Smith (of Sequential fame)
