Those who just bought a new UAD-1 will be glad to know that Universal Audio just released a new version. Named UAD-8 I/O it gives : ADAT interface, 44.1 to 192 kHz (mmhm wonder why ;) They also announced a future TDM version of their plugs I want one! | Post a comment ? |

According to a Reuters article, IBM will produce soon a new 64 bit processor (32 compatible) which will use Altivec. Frequency range begins at 1.8 GHz. PPC970 (its nickname) could be used in future Macs, which should be some "boost" to the actuel range.| Reuters | Post a comment ? |
