Music Software : Yamaha releases M7CL and LS9 Editors for Mac - macmusicSince their release, the M7CL and LS9 digital consoles have become widely used throughout the global live and installed sound industry. The M7CL V3 Editor and LS9 Editor for Mac software will take the M7CL and LS9 environment to the next level. The Network-MIDI Driver has been redesigned specifically for this release, allowing M7CL Version 3 and LS9 consoles to talk directly to Macintosh computers, assuming the role of the DME-N Network Driver used on Windows platforms.

Like the Windows version, the software runs under the Studio Manager V2 host, providing the same features and operating environment as the Windows version. In addition, advanced features such as Sends on Fader operation via the M7CL V3 Editor are now available for the Mac platform.
