The SB-5 features an integral 1.5 meter (5ft) cable terminated in a 3.5mm (1/8) connection for laptops, tablets and personal music players that is secured in place with a compression fitting.

The cable is neatly wrapped and safely stored away using the sidewinder cable cleat. Connection from the source device is usually done using headphone output. Inside the SB-5, two transformers deliver full stereo operation. The transformers perform the balancing while assisting in reducing noise by isolating the input from the output to eliminate hum and buzz caused by ground loops.

ILIO adds a new patch library to its collection of sounds for Spectrasonics' Omnisphere: EDM-Ignition. This collection of 100 brand new patches for Omnisphere was meticulously crafted for creating the latest styles of EDM (Electronic Dance Music). Loaded with staple sounds such as wobble basses, pulsing basses, leads, keyboards, synths, pads, textures, and tempo-locked synths, these patches will work well for not only EDM styles, but also pop, hip-hop, and even film and television music cues. Every patch was programmed to make use of the modulation wheel for real-time control, and many are optimized for use with The Orb in Omnisphere.

The second section comprises of bpm fx loops including manipulated glitch patterns, morphing bass synth loops, hammer fx, arpeggiated synth masters, futuristic rhythmic elevations, whipping fx sweepers and again a whole chunk more fx loops.

UVX-3P was developed with the same care and thoroughness as our other Vintage series instruments. A JX-3P was fully restored to factory spec, programmed by members of our sound design team and deeply multi-sampled, capturing samples both dry and with the built-in analog chorus enabled.
