Arnaud Jacobs has studied architecture. After his studies in Gent it did not take long, however, before, he chose music. Today he comes in several aliases: MarkMancha (electronic music), Arnaud Jacobs (assigned music for films, theater, dance and other media), Aernoudt Jacobs (sound-installations) and tmrx (autonomous collages constructed from everyday sounds), his main and best-known alter ego. Since 1996 he has been performing in Belgium, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Mexico.
