HowTo: Translations

We need a hand to translate the news and articles published on the MacMusic site (French --> English, and English --> French)
First, simply write your translation with a basic text editor (without html code) and send it to us attached with an email.
Don't forget to mention your member number (0) and your login name (Guest) , otherwise, your work wouldn't be credited in your personnal account.

There's two kind of works:

Translating a long article (value = 10 up to 20 points)
    - choose one or several articles among the list of article not yet translated.

    - send a mail to the translation team, just to check out that's nobody is on the job

    - then mail us the translation as a text document attached to your email
Translating a simple news (value = 4 points)
Translating a news is an easy and quick job, but we need regular and permanent translators. The aim is to form a strong team to published very quickly all the daily news.

      - Get in touch with the translators team. Get on well with them about the side of translation you choose (EN --> FR or FR --> EN or both side...).

      - Then we'll send you some testing news to evaluate your ability to get autonomy in that job..

      - Send back your translation ASAP as a text document attached to your email.

When you'll be sure to carry out that job, you'll be allowed to access our mailing-ist of awaiting translations and you'll be warned with an Email.

The principles for translation are very simples : it's not necessary to be exhaustive and literary. You have to resume the essential of the news and the major points. And then, together, we must achieve this job very quickly

Try to keep the layout of the news (symbols, breaks , gaps) and keep the HTML tags (if possible, but don't worry about that)
